What will one day result in a powerful partnership, begins. Focus Logistics is founded in Chicago.
2009
The founders of Vortex take the entrepreneurial plunge, starting with one consolidated truck moving from Toronto to Laredo each week.
2011
The Vortex business grows with the addition of more blue chip manufacturers, cementing Vortex's reputation as a reliable partner for businesses with time-sensitive freight.
2020
In the midst of a Global pandemic, Vortex continues to deliver on the needs of its customers, resulting in no layoffs and continued investments in its team.
2022
Vortex acquires Focus Logistics to expand its capabilities on the Mexican border.
2023
Vortex continues to scale up and has 150 FTLs of consolidated freight heading to the border every week.
